The design utilizes recessed balconies to provide each unit with an extension of the living space while maintaining the building’s clean exterior geometry. Durable brickwork and metal accents are used to relate the structure to the historical character of the surrounding neighbourhood. Sustainability is addressed through efficient insulation and the use of locally manufactured building components.
